ANTI BRIBERY GUIDELINES

No employee or associate of OBL is expected or allowed to accept money, gifts or other favours directly or through another person or organisation from or on behalf of any current or prospective supplier, customer, service provider or business associate in return for business favours granted or possible to be granted (hereinafter called "bribery") If any OBL employee demands or accepts bribery he will be violating company guidelines and core values and is subject to summary termination of his services and other civil or criminal actions as the case may be.
If any company employee receives gifts during any festival from known or unknown sources under the company's standard operation procedures entitled "Receiving Gifts By Employees", the employee must deposit the gift with Human Resources Department and obtain a written confirmation for such deposit made within a period of 3 days from the date of receiving the gift/s. If this is not done, it will be deemed that the gift has been kept by the employee in violation of the company policy as bribery and it will make him liable for termination from services and other action.
All current and prospective suppliers, customer, service providers and business associates must respect the policies of the company pertaining to bribery. They MUST inform the company by a written letter along with proof, if any, addressed to the CEO or Executive Director of OBL within 3 days of the incidence if any company employee demands or accepts bribery directly or indirectly. All such timely written complaints will be investigated by OBL and if found correct, necessary action will be taken against the concerned employee. The suppliers, customer, service providers or business associates need not worry about consequences to their business if they report the incidence to the company as soon as it happens. OBL has strict anti bribery policies irrespective of the position of the employee. OBL conducts all its business dealings solely in the interests of the company and not of any individual in the company irrespective of his position. No supplier, customer, service provider or business associate is allowed to give bribery to any company employee or business associate in return for any existing or expected favours. If the supplier, service provider or business associate gives such bribery, the company shall stop all future Busines dealings with the supplier and recover any bribery paid to the employee or OBL business associate in addition to taking all other possible legal action against everyone involved in bribery.
All company employees MUST inform to the CEO or Executive Director in writing if any supplier, customer, service provider or business associate expressly gives or offers to give any money, gifts or favours directly or through any other person or organisation in return for receiving business favours from the employee of any nature. The company shall conduct an enquiry on all information or evidence received and shall not conduct business with the concerned supplier, customer, service provider or associate in future if there is proof or reasonable certainty that the information received may be true and may also take other necessary action. Not informing the company of such incidence timely is not permitted. Action will be taken against the concerned employee who receives bribery or only received offer for bribery but did not report the incidence to the company immediately. Any employee who has knowledge of any Bribery related transactions involving any other company employee has the right and duty to inform the CEO or Executive Director in writing providing all relevant information or evidence. Such an employee providing the information or evidence in a timely manner need not worry about any adverse consequences to him. The information or evidence provided will be investigated and necessary action taken.
