1. Does the anti-viral tile kills all germs present in the room?
- Yes, anti-viral tiles kills all bacteria and viruses that it comes in contact with.
2. Does anti-viral remove all germs from the room forever?
- Fresh bacteria, Fresh viruses keep entering a room from various routes such as airborne, touch, contaminated material, etc. Anti-viral Tiles continuously fight against various microorganisms, more commonly harmful bacteria and fungus which come in contact with the tile surface and kill more than 99.5% lethal drug resistant bacteria (like Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), mRNA viruses and fungus on its surface within 24 hours.
3. What is the percentage of germs killed by it?
- More than 99.5% in first 24 hours of contact. Eventually, all microbes that come into its contact will die.
4. Is there a special laying procedure for GFT?
- No, there is no special laying procedure. Laying has to be done in same way as for other tiles. Our technical support group can guide you in laying these tiles.
5. Can anti-viral tiles be applied on wall and floor both?
- Yes. Since germs spread the most through touch, both wall and floor of your home or office needs safeguarding.
6. In what sizes are these anti-viral tiles available with OBL?
- Stocks can be made available in sizes of 300x450 mm; 300x600 mm 600x600mm and 600x1200. Minimum Order Quantity for such SKUs will be: min 1000sqm for Wall SKUs; And Min 1500 Sqm for Floor SKUs.
7. Any Guidelines for cleaning and for daily mopping after the Germ Free Tiles are laid?
- Use light soap solution or tile cleaners. Acid cleaning not recommended.
8. What is the time duration we should keep for mopping the floor /interval of time?
- Anti-viral tile works in between cleaning cycles, therefore, users can follow any frequency of cleaning as per their choice. Anti-viral tiles has the advantage that it works all day long. It is effective with even low frequency or inefficient mopping of the floor.
9. What is the minimum order quantity required to produce GFT tiles at factory?
- Minimum Order Quantity for such SKUs will be: min 1000sqm for Wall SKUs; And Min 1500 Sqm for Floor SKUs.
10. If I don’t clean the tiles regularly, will it still kill germs?
- - Anti-viral will kill germs that come in contact with its surface. If tile is not cleaned and a layer of dust settles on the tile, then the airborne germs will not come in contact with the tile surface and thus cannot be killed. Therefore, it is advised to keep the tile surface free from dust.
11. Dose the germ free tiles have any side effects like other drugs that kill bacteria?
- No. Unlike other drugs, the nano-technology work in a completely different way. They do not have any side effects.
12. What is the effect of this antimicrobial efficacy on human occupants?
- The antimicrobial chemicals and drugs that are used to kill germs do have a bad effect on human health. In case of anti-viral tiles, the nano particles are embedded in the tile matrix and do not flow out or evaporate to reach other parts of the room.
